Julie Sydor here:) When I’m not channeling my Comic Art BFA (from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design) to this web-comics dark designs, I’m usually reading or watching cartoons.
I can be emailed at: juliejsydor *at* gmail *dot* com
My Deviantart page is here.
And for the super-curious, my first now-defunct webcomic from 2007 is here.
It’s a fantasy comic about sheep-farmers, talking dog-monsters, and ravens ruling the world.

Thank you also for the review!
Julie, i apreciate so much, people like you stop making this kind of jokes, readings and comments about this subject; those offend us. I understand you are trying to revive a cartoon; but pls be careful, because it hurts, when people like you makes that kind of bad reference of our country. Come to colombia, and you will see how different is my country accourding the bad meaning you have.
Your sincerally,
Hey, great comic!!!
I like a lot the authenticity of it!!! I mean, a Fictional Colombian Drug Lord? that’s super original… I dont think anyone has heard of it before in any CSI/Simpsons/NCSI/Saturday Night Live/etc, Hollywood and world wide independent movies, books and even Danish comics… Nop, this comic is truly authentic!!!
I am very relieved this production is not falling in a classic cliché, like what they say that 95% of the Colombian cocaine production goes to the USA market, the same percentage of world consumers are located in USA and Europe. No, this comic really is a refreshing new perspective of the world drugwar and its policies and it certainly is a great support to the recent claims of the Colombian government and other Latin American countries in revising drugwar policies.
Definitely, great production!!! Congrats!!!
Hi, I’m from Colombia and i have to say that i like snow flame a lot, you are doing a great job, I don’t think that the comic is racist.
Take care!
Thank you so much:)
Oh! Great idea for an issue cover:
“With Great Powder Comes Great Responsibility”
